I nominate MIT researcher Judith Wurtman for a Nobel Prize. According to Wurtman, when your body produces serotonin, it helps your body know when it's full. "Serotonin is crucial not only to control your appetite and stop you from overeating; it's essential to keep your moods regulated." One of the "mood foods" that causes this surge in serotonin? Pasta!
And Culinate.com has just published my list of eight great pastas and sauces that go with them in its Culinate 8 column this month. Titled "Pasta Parade: Which Shape for Which Sauce?" it'll give you lots of links to great recipes to get your serotonin levels soaring. Check it out!
