Our neighbor, Mr. T (aka Brown Shuggah), is almost as crazy about Mr. Ettinger's beers as my Dave. Almost.Rumor had it that Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) was planning to open on Tuesday, Mar. 17, so he and Dave were going to go stand in line at the door around 3 in the morning to make sure they got their seats at the bar for those first precious pints.
Well, according to Ben Love, assistant brewer, apparently no one told the city inspector about this plan, and he had some tweaks he wanted the guys at HUB to make before he'd let them throw open the doors. So they've had to push back the opening to Tuesday, Mar. 25, to make sure all their ducks (not to mention the pints) are in a row before they start pouring.
But if you see a couple of guys out there in the wee hours of the morning on the 25th, honk. 'Cause you know what they're there for.
