Numbah Three!

Just got another quote in "Comments of the Moment" on Mark Bittman's blog, Bitten, for a comment I made on his post about that little chunk of meat along the backbone of the chicken. Some here call it the "oyster" of the chicken since it's about that size, and consider it a delicacy. Why, I'm not sure, since it pretty much tastes like the rest of the chicken as far as I can tell. But wouldn't you know, the French have a name for it, "sot-l'y-laisse," that loosely translates as “the part that only a fool leaves behind.”

This qualifies for excitement and a post?

I know it seems funny, but I admire the heck out of the guy. And getting singled out on his blog is pretty cool. Sure made my day!
