Big Snow at Big Table Farm

With all the wacky weather we've been having, I thought you'd like to see what it's like outside the city. Clare Carver, who, along with Brian Marcy, owns Big Table Farm in Gaston, has been posting some very cool pictures on their farm blog.

According to my brother, these guys also make some mighty fine wine. I'm looking forward to opening a bottle soon though (heads-up, Laurie) I've already fallen for the label that Clare designed for their syrah.

Photos from Big Table Farm blog.

Hi Clare! Thanks for the great photos...so beautiful! We were out in Gaston yesterday at Ayers Creek Farm and saw that the snow was almost completely gone. Amazing. Hope the melting isn't causing you trouble. Take care!

ahh just a little bit o h20 so just trying to keep the mud down which is always a challenge with larger animals! but we have lots of space just have to get out there and move the animals to new spots - so how does your brother know us?? and what kind of design do you do??

My brother has a wine shop in Sellwood, Vino. I was an advertising art director before I started writing a couple of years ago. Now I'm "scribbling" full time. Who would have thought it was possible?

do you have any samples of your writing on the web?? - I was an art director in a past life as well on the east coast - I only did it for 2 years and knew it would eat me alive if I didn't leave - : )
