This interview with organic seed grower Frank Morton of
Wild Garden Seed in Philomath was done before the
landmark decision in favor of the organic growers who sued the USDA over the deregulation of Monsanto's Roundup Ready sugar beet seeds. It's a great explanation of the suit (based on a previous court ruling on GMO alfalfa), and a portrait of someone I consider a state treasure.
I agree. Frank Morton is an Oregon treasure. He spoke at our Annual Meeting last summer.
