A dozen eggs, no problem. A dozen donuts, OK. Even a dozen guests at a dinner party, though it would be a stretch. But a dozen puppies? Out of one not-so-big Corgi? That I had to see.

And frankly, I would have gone to see them anyway, since the breeder is a friend and her dog (dog people call them "bitches" in a non-judgmental way, but I've never become accustomed to that usage), Crystal, is a lovely merle girl, always full of wiggles and kisses.

So, for the puppy lovers among you, enjoy. These little guys are a whole six days old. And for the record, there are two merles and ten black-and-white puppies, with four girls and eight boys. Be assured more pictures will be forthcoming.
